Westwood Christian vs. St. John Neumann
Our Warriors traveled across the State to play a game versus St. John Neumann in a “battle of bigs”. Emmanuel got the party started with a few blocked-shots and timely rebounds while also holding his counterpart to under 10 points.
Having all the attention on the offensive end, opened-up the floor for our perimeter players to shine. Sebastian wasted little time in getting into the scoring column, nailing back-to-back mid-range shots in the first quarter. James wasnt far behind, as he pulled-up for several 15′ jump shots while also attacking the rim when possible. Having to play with a depleted roster had little effect on our boys, as they rose to the occasion and cruised to the 20-point win.
Jordan Shorter knocked-down a deep three and coupled it with some nifty assists and all-around good play. Jules Molina continued his torrid defense effort, ripping away balls and causing several turnovers with his intense pressure attack.
Senior Adrian Farradas kept his hot-streak going, drilling 4 3-pointers to pace all scores with 20 points. Adrian’s outside touch has been a revelation to our Young Warriors, as he has helped spread the floor and done an admirable job playing the guard spot for us.
Final Score: Warriors 69 – St. John Neumann 52
