Our Warriors competed in the annual Under Armour Holiday Classic and came away with an impressive 2-1 record, with convincing victories over Westminster Christian and Chaminade.

Big Man Emmanuel Dowuona led the way defensively for us with several big games in the paint. Big E swatted away an average of 7 shots per game to go along with a rebounding average of 10.5. Big E continues to grow on the offensive end and put some of his hard work on display with a variety of dunks, put-backs, and easy finishes around the rim.

Offensively our squad was led by senior Adrian Farradas, who averaged 18ppg while shooting an impressive 55% from the feild. Adriankept his hot-hand throughout the tournament, knocking-down a total of 12 3’s.

Our Junior duo wasn’t far behind, as James Ametepe remained aggressive with his drives to the basket while Sebastian Guitian kept his good shooting from the perimeter going as well. Jules Molina set the tone once again with his constant hustle and defensive pressure, forcing turnovers and pushing the pace offensively.

Berlingo also played to his potential this tournament, getting into the heart of the defense and creating for teammates. Our Warriors battled and earned respect once again for their efforts and determination and proved to be one of South Florida’s top teams.

Final Score: Warriors 75 – Westminster Christian 65

Final Score: Warriors 80 – Chaminade 60
